Engaging, evidence-based sessions on topics like consent, sexuality, gender bias, allyship, and bystander intervention — for organisations ready to build genuinely safer cultures.

I offer custom trainings tailored to your workplace’s needs, or my flagship program Beyond The Bystander

- Ange Gaylard,
Chief Operating Officer,
The Man Cave

“We brought Freya Graf in to run Gender Equity training for our team, and the impact has outlasted the workshop itself. Conversations about gender equity have become a regular part of how our team talks, not a one-off event that faded the week after.

What Freya does well is build the conditions for honesty. Women on our team spoke openly about their lived experiences, and the men in the room engaged with the discomfort rather than deflecting or going quiet. That balance is hard to strike, and Freya manages it without forcing it.

The most useful outcome is that our people now feel equipped to have the tough conversations themselves. They're not waiting for HR to step in or for another external facilitator to give them permission. Freya gave them a framework and the confidence to use it, and that's what makes her work stick.

I'd recommend Freya to any organisation that wants gender equity training to actually change how their people behave, not just tick a box.”

‘Gender, Allyship and Bystander Intervention’
training day with The Man Cave

Sessions can be delivered as standalone keynotes, interactive workshops, or extended training programs — and are tailored to your audience, whether that's students, staff, leaders, or the whole organisation.

“We had Freya run a training for the entirety of The Man Cave, the session was an opportunity for deep reflection in gender, the roles we play and importantly hearing from the voices and lived experience of the women in our organisation.

This training was expertly delivered and the content was pointed, relevant and directly applicable in our work.

In the landscape of gender in the workplace, Freya brings a light of clarity and perspective that has helped equip our organisation with new language and tools to improve gender equity in our workplace.”

- Al Green, Co-Founder & Chief Experience Officer at The Man Cave

Freya's bystander intervention and allyship training was one of the most thought-provoking and genuinely important professional development experiences our team has had.

The content was sharp, evidence-based, and directly relevant to the work we do at The Man Cave, but more than that, it created a space where the men in our organisation could really grapple with what it means to not just avoid harm, but to actively interrupt it.

Freya has a rare ability to hold difficult material with both honesty and warmth. She didn't let us off the hook, but she also didn't leave us without a path forward. The framing around allyship fatigue, the practical tools for intervention, and the connection she drew between our everyday choices and the broader culture we're either challenging or upholding — it all landed.

I'd recommend this training without hesitation for any organisation that works with men, or wants to build a culture where allyship is a practice, not just a value on a wall.

Workplace training that actually shifts culture

- not just checks a box

I work with universities, charities and NFPs, residential colleges, schools, and organisations to deliver sessions that go beyond compliance and box ticking — sessions people actually remember, talk about, and act on.

Real growth and culture shift is my passionate aim.

These topics matter more than ever. Gender bias, sexual harassment and discrimination are insidious and can be hiding in plain sight, even in the most progressive spaces.

My sessions actually shift thinking and change behaviour by inviting people in rather than shutting them down or calling them out - even on the topics people find hardest to discuss.

Flagship Program - Beyond the Bystander

Gender Equity & Active Bystander Training

My signature workplace training program.
Beyond the Bystander is a fully developed, evidence-informed program designed specifically for mixed and male-majority teams who want to move from good intentions to genuine action on gender equity.

It's built around a simple premise: most people in most workplaces already know that sexism is wrong. What they don't have is the language, the confidence or the practical tools to do something about it when it happens in front of them. This program gives them exactly that.

What we cover:

  • Gender blind spots, privilege and the everyday behaviours we've stopped seeing

  • The rape culture pyramid — how normalised microaggressions create the conditions for serious harm, and where we have the most power to interrupt the pipeline and create real culture shift

  • Allyship — the difference between performing it and practising it, including allyship fatigue and what sustains long-term commitment

  • Bystander intervention frameworks and real, usable scripts for speaking up and interrupting everyday sexism across social, professional and digital contexts

  • Scenario-based practice using situations your team will recognise and relate to

What participants leave with:

  • A clear understanding of how gender-based harm operates — from everyday microaggressions through to serious harm

  • A practical bystander toolkit — specific language and strategies they'll actually use to be an upstander

  • The feeling of empowerment, accountability and investment in being part of the solution

  • A personal commitment to one concrete change in how they show up

Available as a keynote, short workshop, half-day, full-day or multi-session program. Tailored to your organisation's context for every booking.

This is the right fit if...

  • Your organisation has a genuine commitment to gender equity and creating culture shift — not just a policy on paper

  • Your team is mostly good people who want to do better but aren't always sure how

  • You're ready to roll up your sleeves and participate in honest conversation, not a sanitised corporate workshop

  • You want your staff to leave with actual tools, not just raised awareness

  • Leadership is prepared to model the values the training asks of staff

It's probably not the right fit if...

  • You're looking for a one-hour online module to satisfy a compliance requirement

  • You want something that challenges no one and creates no discomfort

  • You need a facilitator who will soften the content to avoid difficult conversations

If you're interested in working with me, complete the form with a few details about your needs. We'll review your message and get back to you ASAP.

  • "Freya’s workshop was eye- opening, interesting and at times revealing. It cleanly and directly explores the impact of even the smallest things on gender equity, and gives voice to the realities that women go through everyday. If you’re looking to shine light on your blind spots, this is the training for you."

    - Fischer McAsey, Uplift Community

  • "The section on allyship fatigue was unexpectedly powerful. It named something I recognised in myself and in colleagues — that drift from motivated to exhausted to quietly disengaged. Having a framework for understanding that, and for sustaining the practice over the long haul, was genuinely valuable."

    - Jen, TMC Global

  • "I now feel more comfortable calling behaviours out, knowing that my allyship is more important than avoiding temporary discomfort. The most valuable and impactful thing I'm taking away from this training is the empowerment I felt to call things out and not just be a passive bystander. Also a strong reminder of all the things women have to contend with every day under the patriarchy."

    - Vinny Dinh

  • "Sitting in for Freya's allyship and bystander workshop was powerful. She laid out the facts plainly and delivered it in a way that commanded respect, and left everyone in awe and deep thought. I feel way more educated on the perspective of women, and while it rode my edges of comfortability, I now feel more confident and more equipped to stand up against gender based discrimination whenever I see it unfold."

    - Nic Valentini
