Accessibility:

For face-to-face sessions I make sure I have a range of sensory toys and fidget items to play with while we sit and chat, and am fairly aware and informed about different neurotypes.

I’m sensitive to the diverse needs of neurospicy folk and always open to learning further from you how I can support and facilitate sessions in a way that suits you.

Unfortunately my rental space is not able to be made wheelchair accessible, and has a steep driveway and set of steps to traverse on the way down to my session room. It’s completely accessible for most clients, however sadly means that I can’t cater to those with limited mobility.

The other accessibility factor to note is that I have a cat in the house. He is very friendly and can assist clients to feel comfortable and soothed while we chat if you’re up for a cuddle on the couch.
However unless requested, I generally keep him out of the session space so as not to distract. If you’d like him around for some of your sessions, just let me know!

The cat is a hypoallergenic breed, to minimise allergic reactions, and I use an air purifier in the room as well as regular cleaning. But I can’t guarantee your allergies won’t be triggered from being in the house depending on how sensitive you are. So just a heads up about that!

I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and racism sensitivity awareness trained, and I aim to create a safe, caring and respectful space for everyone.
I’m also an able-bodied, white, cis-het woman with my own blindspots and gaps in life experience and knowledge.
So I’m always happy to have these pointed out to me and relish opportunities to develop my awareness and understanding so that I can be even more supportive and active in my allyship for diverse humans with different experiences to mine.
